I had great fun running a few Christmas Card Lino Workshops recently.
It was a good way to introduce people to the studio via lino cutting whilst getting into the festive spirit. Everyone who came had no prior experience and no idea what to expect. As you can see they all created some wonderful images which they were delighted with. They loved escaping from it all for a few hours and learning a new technique to create their own artwork. It was lovely to see how immersed they were in the actual process of carving out their design with the cutting tools. Then came the magic of inking up their lino blocks and watching the finished product come off the press– it was brilliant to watch their reactions!
